Exotic St. Croix
The US Virgin Island with the least tourism traffic, St. Croix has much to offer the visitor willing to get off-the-beaten-path and explore the largest of the three US Virgin Islands. The geological differences between the other Virgin islands and St. Croix is apparent from the air as you fly into Christiansted. The coastline has vast, sweeping curves compared to the jagged bays of its neighbors to the north. There also wide open agricultural plains which are quite absent from St. Thomas and St. John. Because of its less vitied status, St. Croix offers a peek at Caribbean island tourism of the past. With quiet beaches, lower prices and locals eager to show you a good time.
